Thanks to Shane Snowden, Tom Sullivan, and Brette Tshurtz for presenting "Advocating for LGBT Cultural Competency in Medical Settings" during the State of the Coalition call on Thursday, 12/8.

The National Coalition for LGBT Health Announces a State of the Coalition Call

The topic of the call will be "Advocating for LGBT Cultural Competency in the Medical Setting", and is scheduled for Thursday, December 8 at 3 pm EST/12 noon PST. The call will principally be a panel discussion about how to advocate for LGBT cultural competency in the medical setting.  The panelists are Shane Snowdon, Director, UCSF Center for LGBT Health & Equity, Tom Sulivan, Deputy Director, HRC Family Project, Brette Tschurtz, Associate Project Director, Divsion of Healthcare Quality Evaluation, The Joint Commission.
